A good question. The best thing to do if a circuit breaker trips, is to unplug ALL appliances, and remove fuses from fixed wired accessories. Next turn the power back on to see if the problem has resolved. If it turns back on, then it is likely to be one of the appliances that has caused it. Plug things back in individually until the power trips again, this will help to determine which appliance is causing the electrical issue. This works the same for lighting too!
